The Brand
silk di Laurentia is a silk only online clothing shop established in Amsterdam in year 2020 - the main concept is to combine glamour with simple ideas - we therefore settled on one of the most quality, fancy and sustainably made fabric “SILK” - our designs are concentrated on multi-functional outfits - our slip dress for example can be worn to the supermarket with flat shoes - but with high heels it becomes a party or date night or occasional dress - and with a jacket on it - an office dress - However, comfort comes first and our 100% mulberry silk fabrics guarantees just that.
Our silk fabric is made by cultivating silkworms on mulberry leaves - one of the most sustainable ways of making the silk fabric.
Our Designs
Our products are Dutch Designed. The term ‘Dutch Design’ was first coined in Milan in 1993. Minimalistic and experimental are characteristics of the Dutch Design.
We approach our designing with basic questions like, what is minimalistic yet glamorous? what works for all seasons and for all people? and we add extra comfort to our cut in other to make them easy to wear?.
Fitting lines infront of the dresses and skirt
Our silk looks good when worn either tight or loose, because of the fitting lines we add in front of the dresses and the skirts. If one is not comfortable on the drape of the fabric, the fitting lines fit the waist in a magical way, irrespective of the size of the wearer.
Straps for the dresses and top
Our strap is very long and very easily adjustable - therefore, our happy buyers will be able to adjust the length of the dress according to their preference.

We Care
Silk is a product of nature, starting from the Mulberry tree to the silk worm. We care and worry about our nature and our environment. Consequently, after our end of year account silk di Laurentia will donate to her customer’s chosen environmental NGO.
